The Pragmatist Foundation

The Pragmatist Foundation is dedicated to promoting a more pragmatic world perspective and approach in everything from education to politics, interpersonal relationships, government policy, marriage, academics, and child development.

The DEI Remediation team is led by Simone and Malcolm Collins, founders of The Pragmatist Foundation, and supplemented by a broad network of industry experts.

With an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of St. Andrews, Malcolm’s professional background is in startups, private equity, brain-computer interface, and nonprofits. Over the course of his career, Malcolm honed in on lightweight and low-cost organizational and governance models. Malcolm has authored five bestselling books, including the Wall-Street-Journal bestselling Pragmatist’s Guide to Governance.

Having worked in everything from private equity and Silicon Valley startups to the realms of ophthalmic medical devices, food service, nonprofits, and environmental advocacy, Simone—with a Master’s in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and an undergraduate business degree from the George Washington University—loves nothing more than cleaning up inefficiencies.
